* S     Beta Carotene - 38; precursor to vitamin A; see
nutrient additives.

S      Beta glucans – acomponent of cellulose.

* X A      BHA - 7, 40; can cause liver and kidney damage,
behavioral problems, infertility, weakened
immune system, birth defects, cancer; should be
avoided by infants, young children, pregnant
women and those sensitive to aspirin.

* X A      BHT - 7; see BHA; banned in England.

C      Blackstrap molasses - 49; 1 Tbsp. contains 11-15
grams of sugars; contains small amounts of
minerals, but is still 65% sucrose.

* S      Biotin - B vitamin; see nutrient additives.
